DESCRIPTION

Er zijn verschillende manieren om de bal in het spel te brengen. Door de service kan de serveerder bepalen hoe het spel de eerste zal verlopen. Een paar manieren van serveren worden nu beknopt beschreven. Let vanaf het begin op een goede uitvoering van de service. De serveerder houdt de hand open en gooit de bal op achter de tafel.

Backspin serve:

  • Het bat iets open.
  • De bal opgooien.
  • Het bat beweegt van achter hoog naar voor laag.

    Contra service:
  • Het lichaam is naar de tafel toegekeerd.
  • Hat bat gesloten.
  • Beginners spelen de bal uit de hand.
  • Het bat beweegt van achter schuin omhoog en naar voor.

    De hoek waaronder je een bal moet raken, wordt bepaald door verschillende factoren: hoe speelt de tegenstander je de bal toe, heeft de bal veel of weining snelheid, veel of weining effect (topspin, zijspin of backspin) en hoe wil of kun je daarop antwoorden; retourneer jel snel of langzaam, met of zonder effect?
