Gymnastics Drill Demonstration


Controlled arm circles forwards, backwards, and sideways into a single leg balance with 1/4 twist into arabesque.

Coaching points

Upright body position, shoulders down, and arms straight.

Stretch into all circles.

Slow controlled breathing.

Slow controlled arm movement.

Hold wide single eg balance.

Lift onto ball of foot to 1⁄4 twist into Arabesque.

Lower to flat foot to hold arabesque balance.

Controlled return to upright standing.
