Golf: Zone Ball

SET-UP
Set out a series of ?jumps? using marker cones
Use a cone to mark the beginning of the course
Mark out a safe area for non-hitters
Split the group into teams
Line the teams up at the starting point
Give the player at the front of the line a club and a ball
ACTIVITY
Players try to get over the ?jumps? in turn
Players have to clear each fence and land before the next to move onto the next fence
When all players have been over the ?jumps? team sits down
The first team to be sitting down wins

Starting with cone nearest to the target players attempt to putt the ball into the hole moving onto the next when successful. The winner is the first to hole three in a row.

SET-UP:
Use tees/cones to set up a bullseye around a hole/target preferably in the centre of the putting surface
Split pupils into teams and space equally from the centre of the bullseye.

ACTIVITY:
Teams score points from putting into the various parts of the bulleye
Highest score after a certain amount of putts wins

SET-UP:
Use either a yellow ball or brightly coloured tee as the 'Jack'
Split the group into teams of 4
Each team needs a putter and 1 ball per player each team needs to mark their balls to tell them apart from the opposition.

ACTIVITY:
Players putt their balls alternately in teams of 4. All balls nearest to the 'jack' scores points for the team. First to 21 is the winner
