Pupils begin by attempting to hit a 5-6 pace putt, away from a hole, paying attention to the length and pace of the stroke. (1) Pupils then attempt to hit 4 additional putts past the previous by keeping the pace of the stroke similar but extending the length of the stroke. (2) A successful effort will see the balls equally spaced. When this is roughly achieved, putt back to the hole. (3)
