Golf: Cliffhanger

SET-UP:
An extension of Sharp Shooter using a course of goals. Place tees / markers 6 - 10 cm apart around the putting green / surface. Tees / markers can be different colours for each gate.

ACTIVITY:
Players negotiate the course in the least number of strokes. Teams can take alternate shots, the team with the least number of strokes is the winner.

SET-UP:
Place two tees or markers 6to10cm apart on a putting green or other putting surface. For team activity place several sets of tees around the putting green / surface

ACTIVITY:
Players attempt to score a goal by rolling the ball through the gates made by the tees or markers 'scoring a goal'. Players can play in teams of up to four and take puts alternately, working their way round the green.

SET-UP:
Divide the group into teams, each player is given a ball. Each team starts from a set position marked out by the leader.

ACTIVITY:
Players putt their first ball 2/3 meters away then attempts to putt each subsequent ball so that it travels past the next until all are in a row. Ideally each ball should be equally spaced from the previous. This can be done as a team game, using more balls.

SET-UP:
Mark out one or more 'clockfaces' using suitable markers. Place a marker at the centre of each 'clockface'. Split the group into teams and send each team to a 'clockface'. Teams line up at 1 o'clock. Give each team one club and give each player one ball.

ACTIVITY:
The first player putts the ball towards the target. If they hit the target the team moves onto 2 o'clock but if they miss they stay at 1 o'clock. The second player putts, then the second, then the third and so on. Teams cannot move round until they hit the target. The first team that makes it round to 12 o'clock wins.
