Forward (Blue) starts with the puck behind goal line, opposing defense (red) starts in opposite corner. On Whistle, player makes clean pass to D1 and immediately skates clear of the cone and straight to the slot. D1 passes clean to D2; D2 shoots on net through the screen. Forward and Defense in slot battle for proper positioning. Battle for rebound until goalie covers or puck is cleared.
Key Points: Accurate, firm passes on the tape. Shot on net...low shots are the focus in this scenario Acceleration to your position (both Blue forward and red defense) Goalie seeing the puck, playing high in the crease,focussing on the shooter not moving bodies. Defense must move the body. Switch sides halfway throguh the 10 minutes. Rotate players through all roles.
