If we win the puck as Defensive Team Setting up on in a Defensive Posture for the Faceoff. Centres job is to win the puck back to the corner. Offside D is to move behind the net collect the puck and either hit up the forward directly if there is enough time or rim it so the Winger can move onto it. Wingers will initially move towards their defensive coverage of D until we have obvious control of the puck and then change course. In the picture, LW moves towards the RD then immediately cuts towards the boards to receive the pass up. RW is moving through the faceoff towards LD and then cuts towards middle of ice. From here the LW can either bounce the puck off the boards up to a potential breakaway or hit the RW with a pass. Centre brings up the rear as F3 take the RW side of ice and will come into O zone as F3 if it were a game. LD for Defensive team will cover RD and change back at appropriate time.
