Station 1: "follow the pass". X in corner starts with pucks, makes pass to D 1-up the boards. D 1 stays tight against boards, gets pass and skates with puck towards D2. D 2 almost in line with the goal. When D1 starts skating with the puck, D2 needs to skate backwards to the boards, ready to receive pass . Pass comes to D2, who then controls puck, makes pass down the boards to RW. RW-passes to C--who passes to LW who then takes a shot on net. Station 2: Players "X" are staionary. The 2 "Y" players skate around the outside of the circle-making a pass to X-who returns the pass. "X" needs to turn and adjust to always face the passer. IMPORTANT point-make sure that the "Y" skaters do not pass to the same "X" player. After 6 or 7 circles, switch positions. Station 3 :1 vs 1 puck battle with a shot on net. Coach dumps puck into zone, First player to puck is offense, second player is defending the goal/stopping the attack.
