RYAN/NIK: Pass follow. For 7U group add a stick handle and tire turns before passing. For Advanced group P1 passes to the Point then work on a fake shot and walking the line to the middle. Wed like players to look at the net as they carry to the middle then pass follow as shown. TRACE: Player behind the net is neutral. 1 on 1 in front where a pass must be made each time. Transition from Def to Off and constant movement in a small area to get open and score. If big group numbers could have 2 Neutral players behind the net to keep it moving. Stationary shooting. Weight transfer, eyes up and concentrate on target. Rolling wrists and following through. Let players rotate through as one net is big, two are mite nets. Can have one spot with the board advertisements for Horse shooting. CHRIS/BRETT start with both Squirt groups and watch both sides. When you have beginner groups simple pass to the point, get pass back then attack 2 on 0. Encourage bad angle shots or attack from behind the net. Have two lines. CHRIS/AARON: P1 cross over with the puck and pass to P2 up top. P2 wait for P1 to turn around the tire then soft chip. Recover the puck. Encourage bad angle shots for rebounds and attacking from behind the net. THOMAS: Head up stickhandling. Encourage shoulder, head and hands working together for pump fakes. Can add a full turn around the first tire for advanced. ZAC: Start with 1 foot C cut pumps, watch for skaters getting on outside edge as well. Build to crossovers around the center circle. Add a puck/pass for advanced.
