This will be our PK defensive strategy against teams that move and handle the puck well.
This strategy was very successful last year. Essentially we allow our opponent to move the puck out of their defensive zone. The strong side forward pressures from the inside out at about the top of the opposing teams circles. The none pressuring forward softens to prevent a cross ice pass. The strong side Defenseman steps up to engage the puck carrying opponent. The weak side defenseman cuts the ice in half and lends support to his defensive partner.
