
Blue: Puck Challenge Divide group into two groups. A: Coach yells start and players skate to other end of ice around pylons. D: Players collect the puck and skate toward the net workin on stick handling. F: When close enough have kids fire the puck into the net and send off the next group. First group to have all kid score is your winner. Red: Skate Stop Pass A: Player skates to pylon then tries to stop. Receives pass from the coach, stick handles 3 times and sends a pass back to the coach. D: After reaching the end player skates hard back to end of line. Have a coach there racing with the lids and wokring on proper striding technique.
Blue: Skating, puck control, teamwork, compete level and shooting. Note: Encourage team bonding by having them cheer each other on. Red: Skating, stopping, puck control and passing.
