2 on 2 game â players are not allow to cross over the line in the middle of the zone. Offence must pass to the coach (Gretzky) behind the net before shooting. After the pass they must battle to get to the net and crash the goal for a shot, while the defender is battling for position to stop the shot/ pass. Coaches are to move around behind the net to get open for a pass. Encourage the players to be aggressive on getting open to the goal. Defenders are to guard the zone and keep position.
Coaches should be mobile, but must stay behind the goal line Hard passing â quick movement to get open â crashing the net for loose pucks. Game like battles and speed.
