Top Drill, Similar principle to the first drill however this time there are two forwards, the Ds job in this scenario is to again control the forward skating wide with the puck but to also be aware and cover off the pass from the second forward. Again this is to be ran on both sides of the ice. Bottom Drill, again this is a development of the first drill with the inclusion of a D man, the Ds job as with the top drill is to stop the puck getting to the forward without the puck. The puck carrier now has further options, to either as before shoot through the hash marks for a tip in, shoot low on the goalie for a rebound, skate down low for a pass, skate round the back of the net for the pass. It is the responsibility of the forward without the puck to make the space for the pass.
