Grey defender begins drill skating forward to just beyond the top of the circle, once the defender transitions backwards, player moves to try and get to the net for a shot, blue goes first, red second and yellow 3rd. the grey defender will challenge all 3 players. before the drill ends.
Make sure defender are transitioning to the middle of the ice defenders force players to the outside- keeping body between attacking player and goal. attacking players must shoot inside the fun zone.
