
Kick Passing & First Touch (10 mins) Players move around one half of pitch (adding speed) to receive a pass - 2 footballs in play Game 1: receiving player times a run and attacks the ball with greater speed (3 mins) Game 2: receiving player points where she wants to receive the ball (left/right/front) with greater speed (3 mins) Game 3: Long pass (kick pass) followed by a short pass (hand pass) with players moving at speed.
Player in possession focus on kicking technique (only one hop for receiver) Receiver focus on first touch. In game 3, receiver moves into space to take a long kick pass (20m) on the run + supports the player on the ball for a short hand pass (10m)
