
Position two poles appox five feet apart to form a goal. Place ladder behind goal. GK advances through ladder in direction of goal placing one foot in between each set of rungs. Coach takes shot from hands from in front of goal when GK reaches the goal line.
Focus is on GK's footwork. Staying off the heels while advancing through the ladder. Upon reaching the goal line GK adpots the "set position" - Knees slightly bent with weight on front of feet, elbows slighly bent with hands just above waist height. The focus is on footwork not shot stopping so coach aims to shoot close to GK keeping an eye on GK's posture and hand shape Progress to: a. Advance through ladder with two feet between each rung. b. Postion one x red and 1 x blue cone just in front and outside of the poles. When GK reaches goal line call one of the two colours, GK advances to the coloured cone called in a forward movement, pushes off the cone with outside foot and shuffles to centre of goal in straight line. When Keeper is in set postion at centre point of goal coach takes and aims shot again within saveable zone.
