
- Make 2 teas (yellow and red in diagram) -Each team assign players numbers 1-6 (or however many are on the team) -Coach places the ball in the middle - Teams don't tell oppisition who has been assigned what numbers - Coach calls numbers one ata time randomnly - When a players number is called they run to the opposition line, back to their own line and then into the middle to the ball - when in the middle the aim is to snatch the ball before the other player and get it back to their own line before being tagged
- Perform a pick up to get the ball and return to line - encourages players to get their head up and secure position quickly advancement: Call 2 numbers and players can pass Make the distance smaller or bigger Have to bounce when returning to line so can be tackled Players start sitting down Players start with back to opposition
