- Players pair off with a ball between 2 - One player stands still with feet shoulder width apart (all the blues) - Other player (red) has the ball - On the go reds run anywhere in the square -Each time they come to a blue player they roll the ball through the legs of the blue player, run around them and perform a pick up to collect their ball - Keep rolling through legs and picking up for 1 minute and get to as many different blues as possible - After 1 minute switch with partner
- Roll ball from behind to the front to stop clashing of heads - Pick up is performed directly off the ground for girls, bend back, eyes on the ball, one had each side, take ball into tummy and hold tight while standing upright - Pick up is performed using a toe lift for boys, bend back, while beding bring hands together with fingers spread and thumbs touching ("W" or "M"), plant one foot beside the ball for protection and balance, bring the other foot forward using the toe to flick the ball into hands, take ball into tummy and stand upright. Rather than getting kids to compete in their 2's get them to add scores together and on the second and thrid rotations try to beat their scores.
