Set up no mans land using cones, divide kids evenly on both sides of no mans land. Give each kid (A) a ball. On the whistle the kids must kick their ball out of their hands across no mans land into the other teams area. Coaches should move from child to child helping them with their technique. If kicking from the hand is too difficult get them to kick from the ground. After a minute blow the whistle and the team with least amount of balls on their side is the winner. Repeat for non dominant side. Again if kicking from the hand is too difficult get them to kick from the ground. Repeat a couple of times and time the blowing of the whistle so that teams win an equal amount of games.
Get them to step forward with their non kicking foot before kicking. Get them to drop/release the ball from the hand on same side as the kicking foot, discourage throwing the ball up in the air before kicking. Get them to point the toe where they want the ball to go
