Firstly get the kids to line up on the yellow cones (in the diagram) and get them to practice the technique of passing the ball to each other. The bibs have a goal in each corner similarly the non bibs. They need to handpass the ball into the goal to score. By having goals in two different corners it means they need to use their heads as to where there is an opening. They cab both handpass or strike with the hurley. If striking with the hurley they get allocated 2 goals if the pass goes to hand.
Hand pass has the same technique as an underhand throw. If they are struggling get them to practice a few throws first. They should be passing to their team mates chest (not up in the air) When catching the ball they should not be snapping down on the ball. Encourage them to get their hand underneath the ball. Encourage them to move with the ball i.e. once they pass it they support the person with the ball in the game
