Mark out a square with 4 cones and put all the balls (at least 1 per player) in the square. Nominate 2 players (red A) to be the taggers. These 2 taggers and all the other players (blue D) cannot leave the the square. On the whistle the Red As must try to tag the Blue Ds by handpassing the ball at their legs. When the Blue Ds are tagged they are stuck in the mud. Blue Ds can free anyone stuck by crawling through their legs. If the Red As manage to tag everyone at the same time they win the game. Swap the 2 As after a minute to give a different 2 a go. Question the Blue Ds as to what should they do when they see someone running towards them with the ball. Ask the Red As how can they improve the accuracy of their handpasses.
Ask them are they more accurate with open or closed hands. Ask the taggers is it easier to tag players with the ball when you are near or far away from them. With the handpass make sure they are striking or pushing the ball off their hand. The hand holding the ball shouldn't move far after the strike. Make sure if they are striking with their right hand that their left foot is forward and vice versa.
