We are looking to give the lads the basics regarding inside hand tackling. Blue player goes on the whistle withe the red player slightly behind him. Red player tackles with his inside hand only. If the red player dispossess the blue player before getting to the cone, he gets a point. If the blue player gets to the cone without being dispossesd he gets the point. Switch players each time.
Do a dry run to get the lads used to it. Tell the lads to time their tackle for when the player is going to take a solo or a hop.
