Teaching girls to read the play or anticipate play
I teach a good group of Under 10's. They are doing well but there are a few who need to read the play. They throw directly to the player and passes are being intercepted. This is happening when we my defenders are attacking. They have great defense but do not get it out quick enough. Can anyone help? thanks
remember they are 10...lol they easily get confused if they have more than 1 option and will throw to their friend first before anyone....lol teaching them to spread out and only have one person running for the pass at a time might help. but try and remind yourself that reading play is not something that is easy to do with such young minds. they will get better with age.
Yes i need to remind myself but they are actually very good and playing well in A grade and understand netball well. I just want to be able to help them with their game. We will focus on spreading out.
