DESCRIPTION

Groups of 3-4, with 2 cones and 1 ball. Only 2 players are active at any one time –other 1-2 are umpires. Player with ball dribbles towards opposite cone. Other player tries to steal (tackle) it. The umpire(s) decide whether the ball has been taken fairly / who wins the point. Swap over once a point is scored. Scoring: A point is scored either when Attachers reaches opposite cone, or defender tackles them, or When either player reaches opposite cone with the ball Variations: (lower ability defender) defender only has to touch the ball to win it (lower ability attacker) defender can only walk / one-handed tackle Reduce playing area so it is easier to tackle Progressions: 1v1 dribble duel: both players start at the white line and must dribble round opposite cones. See who can get back to the line first.
