Three cones are set on the deuce side close to the sideline. Player starts from the centre of the baseline. Player sprints to the first cone and imitates forehand stroke. Player recovers back and repeats the same action to the other cones.

Each player has 2 racquets and the players rally together. Each player has to catch the ball between the racquets before the ball is hit back.

Player sits on the gymnastic ball. Player keeps a dumbbell in their dominant hand above the head. Player bends the arm at the elbow and lowers down the weight behind the back. Player recovers back and repeats the motion.

Player lays down on the ground on the back. Player keeps legs bent at 90 degrees and keeps them in the air. Player moves legs from side to side without touching the ground and keeping their back flat.

Control Point Of Contact

Player stands at the net. Coach feeds balls to the backhand side. Coach hits controlled backhand volley and looks at point of contact. Coach should adjust the speed of feeding to allow player “fix” own eyes at the moment of hitting the ball.

The player and coach hit to each other using backhand slice Before every hit, the player has to bounce the ball up with the racket to control the point of contact and allow for longer rally with backspin

Player keeps posture with bending knees slightly and keeping upper body straight Player grabs resistance band with both hands and performs pulling action towards the belly Player tries to perform the action by working with the back muscles

Regular Backhand = Topspin Backhand

Coach stands next to the player with racket in hand. Coach moves arm with the racket towards the side of the player (waist’s height). Player shadows backhand motion with the aim of moving the racket’s head below the coaches racket.
