DESCRIPTION

*AUDIO DESCRIPTION ON*

  • Central server or coach plays ball out to wide position (wing)
  • Player on the wing who receives it then plays the ball into the Goalkeepers feet
  • Goalkeeper takes a touch, meanwhile closest player on opposite side runs around furthest player
  • Goalkeeper plays the ball into run of advancing player
  • Each time flank players stay on same side but swap positions

COACHING POINTS

  • Goalkeeper can use disguise eg fain to go long and then go short
  • Key point is the quality and weight of pass so the outfielder does not have to break pace and can counter
