Move to get under the ball Hands and arms up (point at the ball)
Keep body sideways on with wide stance
Start the catch with fingertips but cradle down into the arms
Turn back to opposition to protect the ball
3 players, 1 ball, 1 pad.
Player with the ball throws up the ball for the player without the pad to run up to jump and catch while the player with the pad puts on the pressure.
2 players, 1 ball.
The player with the ball throws the ball up and both player jump up to compete for the ball winner scores the point and throws up the next ball.
In threes, 1 ball.
1 player throws the ball up for one of the other player s to catch and the third player to put on a little pressure.
1) Run out (2 steps) turn and pop ball to a support player.
2) Run out (2 steps) turn and let support player take it out of your hands.
3) Run out - go to floor (facing support runner). Chest pass up to support.
Progression: Support player tells person in front which of the above he wants.
