This session is designed specifically to improve your player?s passing skills, their first touch and to also encourage them to use the full width of the pitch in order to stretch their opponents.
The emphasis of the session is to change the direction of the ball. By using their first touch to make space your players will practice changing direction at speed, with a view to playing the ball into the open space, stretching the opposition to create gaps in their defence.
Session Tip:
With more experienced players you can progress the focus of this session onto developing play on the wings. By working as a team your players can pass the ball to the outside of the pitch and then switch it over to the other side!
