From absolute beginners to seasoned players, this session is designed to get your players running hard and hunting down their opposition! Just like birds of prey, your players need to have excellent tracking skills, speed and the ability to wait for the right moment to attack.
What's in the session?
This session reviews the basics of defending - including how to: shadow, channel and successfully time the tackle.
In particular we focus on teaching your players not to over commit, but instead to work as a unit at the back, channelling players away from the danger areas on the pitch and holding them up - waiting for the perfect opportunity to make the tackle.
