Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • From a short run, hurdle step to take off from spring board with two feet.
  • Form tuck shape during flight.
  • Flex knees and hips on landing.

    Coaching points

  • Keep run up in balance and slowly increase lenght of hurdle step.
  • Use arm rotation to aid height.
  • Keep eyes looking forward and raise knees to chest.
  • Wide base for secure landing
