Description
Players line up as shown in the diagram. The ball is pushed out to the top of the circle for the striker (Blue 3) to dummy over the top of the ball. The stopper then passes the ball to the left to Blue 5 who then passes to the injector who has made a lead in towards the goal before coming out to receive the ball. The injector then passes the ball to Blue 6 on the far post to deflect the ball in.
Coaching Points
- Ball speed around the circle is important.
- The initial dummy by the striker needs to be realistic to draw out the defenders.
- Blue 6 must remain low and have body facing the pass, when waiting for a deflection at the back post.
