
Equipment Required Agility Ladder Cone/s or Slalom Pole Ball Set up as many ladders as required to keep players moving. 3 or 4 is usually more than enough Set up Ladder and place a cone or slalom pole a metre from the end of the ladder. 2 players/coaches/parents stand either side of the pole with a ball. Player move through ladder (fast feet or what ever movement you choose) Player receives the ball as they finish ladder Quick pass across body to other coach/parent. Player changes direction to go past the pole in the direction they received the pass.
Players shouldn't watch feet during the ladder ( If possible) Eyes forward and hands up and reaching to receive pass. Quick controlled pass across body Change of direction should be sharp and explosive. Keep tempo up! No gaps between players on the ladder Once the first player is through the ladder and receives the pass the next player goes. Next ladder runner receives ball from opposite side as the previous runner.
