DESCRIPTION

  1. Run into space and have a partner throw the disc around knee to hip height and slightly to one side of your body
  2. Practice catching using the closest hand to the disc
  3. Form a “mouth” between fingers and thumbs of the catching hand, with the fingers down and the thumb pointing up
  4. Keep running all the way through the catch; only slow down once you have hold of the disc
  5. Note: it’s good practice to always try to catch with two hands whenever possible; this drill is to help teach the skill of catching with a single hand when the disc is off target
