Hockey: All the Way Across

Great site. An absolute must for coaches who are willing to change...
Ignatius

DESCRIPTION

Teams of 4 try and pass the ball across the pitch as quickly as possible, not missing any players out.

Each player should at least touch the ball twice. The first team to pass the ball 10 times across the pitch is the winner.

COACHING POINTS

Look for good control and a good first touch which sets the player up for their next pass.
Players should allow the bal to roll from a strong position facing the player into a passing position by dragging the ball with soft hands
