The player with the ball starts to run down the pitch towards the goal. The supporting player stays slightly behind but moves up the pitch on the other side of the line of cones.
When the player with the ball starts to run across the line of cones to the other side the supporting player should at this stage cross over and switch to the other side.
The player with the ball can then pass the ball and the practice continues with the new player in possession.
Once players run past the final cone the player in possession has a shot on goal.
Ball carrier can start on either side of the line of cones.
This practice can be set up on any channel of the pitch, here we have set it up in the centre. The aim is to encourage the players to fill the empty space that has been created by the player with the ball running diagonally.
Only defender is allowed to leave the square and the other one has to stay in their grid and can only be leave if the other defender has returned inside their grid.
The attackers have to keep possession and try to create an overlap to get a player behind the defender.
Once the players have achieved this the other winger can come into the circle and receive the ball to try and score.
Player 1 dribbles the ball across the square, forcing player 2 to also switch in order to receive the square pass from player 1.
Player 2 then starts again, running with the ball from right to left before then passing the ball back across to player 1.
Movement off the ball
Players start from the left or the right with a ball.
One defender in the Circle and one support attacker on the back line.
Players with the ball start out side the circle and have to try and score.
Depending on how what the defender does the attacker with the ball can choose to use the 2nd attacker or go on their own to score.
No matter where you are on the pitch, if you feel that you cannot continue to apply pressure towards the goal Then start to play away from defender, and play the ball to your supporting player; this player then has the choice to:
1.Change the point of attack by passing the ball across the pitch, or
2.Pass the ball to the original player.

3 Players with a ball are trying to get one of the wide players across the goal line by passing the ball via the support player. The defending player ha to try and stop the player crossing the line.
4 players with 2 balls. One player in the middle is tightly marked. One of the players with the ball passes the ball at the marked player who then wall passes the ball back to this player for him/her to run with the ball to the other side. Then the 2nd player with the ball does the same once on the other side. Turn and repeat role reversal in the middle.
