Hockey: Ball to left hand gloved side of GK

DESCRIPTION

Coach should feed the ball to the left hand, where the goalkeeper should aim to give and cushion the ball so that it falls vertically to the ground.

The goalkeeper then uses their feet to save clear, kicking the ball away to start an attacking move.

COACHING POINTS

If the ball is above waist height then the fingers will point upwards, while if the ball is below waist height, the fingers will point downwards.
