Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • Knee on a low block or box and place hands and head to form triangle.
  • Extend knees and raise legs to head stand.
  • Keeping body straight topple over to land with flat body on crash mats.

    Coaching points

  • After knee extention drag toes along bench to allow hips to be above triangle base.
  • Keep legs fully extended.
  • Attain inverted pike shape
  • Push on arms to aid 'topple'.
