DESCRIPTION

  • As previous exercise
  • Attach an elastic 'high jump' rope at mid- point on the bench.
  • Increase angle of the rope. Hold at 60deg plus angle.
  • Gymnast takes a one step lunge, from an acute angle, wheels along the bench.
  • Weight trasfers from hand to hand and legs pass over rope.
  • Exit with feet to mat.

  • COACHING POINTS

  • Encourage high leg lift to clear rope.
  • Encourage acute angle exit.
