Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • Off a short run gymnast places foot between two low markers and hops to land on two feet.
  • Gymnast steps from landing to hop over higher barrier again landing on two feet.
  • On landing hips and knees should be flexed with head up.

    Coaching points

  • The aim is to encourage a high knee lift during the hurdle step.
  • Ensure that the gymnast lands in balance ready to move into the next agility.
