DESCRIPTION

  • Start in a long sit position and bring legs over the head with the hands by the ears to form an invertd pike.
  • Beat the legs upwards from the inverted pike taking the weight on bent arms.
  • Allow the hips to pass over the head and take the weight on the top chest.
  • Allow the legs to 'flop' down into a front support position

  • COACHING POINTS


  • Commence as a backward roll.
  • Form the inverted pike before beating the legs upward.
  • Gymnasts must have good shoulder strength.
