DESCRIPTION

  • The pupil kneels on an inclined padded bench and extends their legs to raise the hips.
  • By walking on the toes towards the hands the shoulders pass over the hands and the pupil rolls over their head on to their shoulders and back.
  • The roll is completed in a long sit position.

  • COACHING POINTS

  • Legs need to be straight and the shoulders past the hands.
  • The chin needs to be tucked into the chest.
  • Slow the roll down by supporting the hips if neccesary.
