Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • From Grasping the sides of the bench at the centre, catch weight on straight arms as legs kick out into a stradle over the middle of the bench, to land one (foot) two (foot) on a mat.
  • Push with 2nd hand down to exit the action.
  • Coaching points

  • Aim to keep legs and arms straight.
  • Aim to get head, hips and feet over the top of the hands.maintaining a straight body.
