Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • From a one step 'run-up' jump on to platform.
  • Jump off making a straight shape during flight.
  • Land with flexed knees and with feet together.

    Coaching points

  • Ensure landing area is suitable.
  • Encourage high knee lift during Hurdle Step.
  • Take extended arms high during flight but bring them to the horizontal to help balance on landing.
  • Keep feet together.
  • Flex knees on landing.
