Gymnastics Drill Demonstration

Description

  • Teach side gallop, ie "faster" side step.
  • Push off "take off" leg harder into the side step and "close together" to gallop.

    Coaching points

  • Stress lightness of footwork, good ankle extension and upperbody posture.
  • Keep arms to horizontal to the side of the body.
  • Increase the height during thr foot transition.
