
Set up six cones to create a rectangler grid 10 x 20 at top of 18 yd box. Two defenders defend 3 attackers. Coach always starts play with ball in to attacker. Attackers move the ball to try and create space for through balls while defenders prevnet any pentration.
each defender has to work hard to create pressure. the defender not pressuring the ball always backs up their teammate. defend and close the passing lanes. force the attackers to make mistakes by applying pressure. force play sideways or backwards. communicate!
