If you only had 30 minutes to work with your backs a week what would you do???
Intense handling - 10 mins
pattern plays - 5-10 mins
opposed pattern plays - 10-15 mins
I would start session working on 1V2, and then 2V3,,approx 8 minutes,,I would then run a backline concentrating on handling, positioning and alignment.As the session is only 30 minutes I would not get too worried about backline moves.I would finish the session with some defence work.
I would run them quickly through overs and unders then progress to inserting a runner into the spacce created. The session would finish with the attacking backline ensuring they can commit their defense to go the way they want them to.
