T Spot drills - outletting or attacking width/depth.

T Spot drills - outletting or attacking width/depth.

Hi all, I'm looking for drills that assist in getting my team to use both the lower and 25 line T spots. There was a 6 on 5 drill on Sportplan but I can not find it. Does anyone have any I can utilise?

Hi Jon,

There are a number of them on the field but the main one`s are on either side of the goals where the `D` line meets the back line. When in attack we have the players bring the ball wide and around to this spot to enter into the circle (as opposed to the top where most of the defence is) OR alternatively the L or R strikers hover in this area to receive the ball.

Whilst it would seem strange to bring the ball in this way (as most defence try to push the attackers wide), the benefit for attacking side is it creates a blind spot to the defence as to who we have on the top of the D or behind them.

The remaining T-Spots are where the 25 line meets the side line or 50 meets the side line.

The strategy being `width and depth` in attack making it harder for the opposition to defend big spaces. (Reverse outletting)

So.... I was hoping someone may have some drills for this. As mentioned Sports Plan had a 6 on 5 drill related to the T Spots. If you type it into google it comes up but when you log in it does not exist.
