please I need some information about defense 5+1...

5+1 means that one player operates in man-to-man defense somewhere on the pitch. The other players are in a 5:0 postion to defend the goal.

The 1 player in man-to-man defense must be able to control the (most of the time best) player he has to defend. Drills explaining how to do this are very important. 1 to 1 duels with good attackers during training sessions must be done.
This player keeps a very good eye on the feet of his opponent only. The feet show the direction in which his attacker want to go. When the attacker is far away from the goal, this defender may go a bit further away from the attacker. When coming closer to the goal, the defender must go closer to the attacker. Make contact immediately when the attacker starts to move to get to the ball.

Agree on what to do when the man-to-man defender cannot hold his attacker and this player gets the ball. Mostly one of the center defenders has to step forward to attack the best player. The other center defender takes the pivot.

Other players in defense : look who is next to you : this is your attacker and try not to lose him out of sight and control.
