Can someone help me by giving me a description of the Tketchav
Hi Sheetal,
The Tkatchev, also known as a reverse hecht, is a difficult release move named after Soviet gymnast Alexander Tkatchev.
A Tkatchev is performed on the high bar or uneven bars, and can be done in the straddle, pike, or layout position. To complete the move the gymnast swings up like a back giant and releases the bar in an arched position.
He/she flies over it with her back to the bar, then catches the bar again while in the sit up position.
Here's a video that may help explain it further.
Hope this helps,
Sportplan Team.
