Netball Conditioning: Fun All-Round Fitness Session

In this Sportplan session we mix things up and work on a variety of fitness systems to get your players working up a sweat and pushing themselves a little but harder than they might usually by getting them to work competitively in teams.
As a taster here's some of the fun and tiring exercises in this session:
- Fundurance - Fartlek endurance training drill with a fun Sportplan shooting twist
- Flexibility - A spider race on all fours followed by a crab running relay (a great ice-breaker, for players young and old)!
- Plyometrics - An energy-sapping jumping exercise
- Speed - A square running drill where players must face forwards at all times (working on side-stepping and running backwards!
You can coach this session as whole or take elements and mix them into your regular training routine!
